I have yahoo! anti spy for IE and firefox and pctools spyware doctor (covers adware too)
The IE version of anti spy keeps on turning up “Estalive” which is located in the registry under the activex compatibility in internet explorer. It is not detected by any other anti adware i have and i have not noticed any pop ups recently. Is this a false detection??
P.S. When i remove it through anti spy and remove it manually, it just reappears when i turn on the pc again. Please help!!
Turn off System Restore, wipe it out again, turn System Restore back on.

anyways if you turn the sys restore off and then delete it i think i wont be active anymore.
right click on my computer>sys restore tab>turn off
