My PC with Vista is having some problems, anybody got any suggestions for the best anti-adware/ spyware software, good at detection and removal or quarantine? Thanks for any help!
you may find that one antispyware tool doesn’t detect everything.
Have a look at Superantispyware – free version doesn’t have resident protection but the scan engine is one of the best
Spybot Search & Destroy (Tea Timer provides a measure of protection if enabled) and Spyware Terminator (offers free resident protection but don’t activate Webguard unless you need antiphishing protection) are two good alternatives
all can be found here
in addition, I occasionally run scans with two free tools
Hazard Shield
Malwarebyte’s Anti-malware (can be used for free without enabling resident protection)
