k as some of u asked more info.i use Norton AV. Yeah am not sure its antivirus, but yeah it *****….Its upto u to classify that… i always get diverted to irrelevant ad sites…thats all i know. I used Spy bot. It detected atleast 20 programs and cleared them but still this problem is not solved.

I have been infected with “Virus Buster” adware/spyware. I know other people on here have had the same issue and have received numerous responses.

Here’s the problem:

McAfee Security and Virus Checker does not detect it
AVG does not detect it
Microsoft Malicious Software Detector does not detect it
HouseCall by Trend Micro does not detect it

HOW THE HECK DO YOU REMOVE THIS STUFF???? All .dat files are current and I am using the latest version of all the above software. HELP!

And everytime i log on the internet i get this thing telling me i have a Threat of a Virus Attack and To update something, and when i do it’s a Spam Page.. I blocked it but it won’t go.. Grr

I am using another computer because I have disconnected the Internet from the infected computer

My norton utilities has detected viruxz.dll, vwlummc.dll, Malware-wipe.exe, and Spyquake2.exe. I also cant get rid of the pop-ups and task bar annoyances.

It keep detecting it everyday, i keep removing them each hour,Does it mean that each time the anti spyware (McAfee) dectecs a new one or is it attached to a file and does not want to go out.
The file C:\WINDOWS\system32\mslock32.dll has been dectected as a component of potentially unwanted program ADWARE-NAVIPROMO.
What will i do to remove this Adware
Is it safe to remove the said file, so to succed in removing the Adware, if yes, howdo i do that?
