My computer has been infected by a Trojan and Adware infection. I’ve tried using different programs such as Trendmicro, Ad-Aware, Spybot, BitDefender Scanner, CounterSpy, AVG Anti-Spyware, Windows Defender. They have been able to detect some things but for some reason it can not quarantine nor remove them completely. I just ran the BitDefender again and it says my computer is infected with: Adware.AWS.A (10 issues left), Adware.VDM (4 issues left), and Trojan.PWS.Lineage.UZH (2 issues left). I have tried to remove and delete them but BitDefender says no action is possible. If anyone knows how to remove these infections please let me know. I’ve tried all different types of online scanners, trial software but none seem to have the ability to detect or remove them. Only BitDefender has been able to detect those 3 but cannot remove it.
I just ran BitDefender in Sade Mode, and the results were the same. It found I had thouse three things again, but were unable to disinfect, quarantine, delete. I’m not sure what else to do. I’ll try using the online scanners that you guys mentioned
Go online and download PANDA ANTI-VIRUS 2008 that should do the job
Do you have any toolbars installed?
Adware.AWS.A can come from a toolbar that you have downloaded.
I would try BitDefender one more time in Safe Mode.
Press F8 upon boot-up to get to safe mode.

Get the spybot SD and give it a try,I would say Bitdefender is very strong secuirty program and very dependable,u may just need to run your pc in safe mode to qurantine these virueses or remove them.

What is probably happening is that the infections are in System Restore points. Anti-virus & anti-spyware programs can not go in & fix malware in restore points.
To fix–delete all restore points (right-click My Computer, click Properties, click System Restore tab, click Turn Off System Restore On All Drives, click Apply), run your tools again, then turn System Restore back on to create a new clean point

I noticed similar behavior with those programs you listed, where they were able to see the problem but couldn’t fix it. I also tried Norton and McAfee with no luck.
I did have success however with Panda Internet Security Suite (the one that comes with full antivirus, antispyware, and site content filtering). It was able to remove the malware and I even tried to install the malware intentionally to see if Panda would stop me (simulating my kids or wife accidentally doing it), and Panda was able to stop it.
Panda also detected two system intrusion attempts – one that was trying to use my wifi connection and another that was trying to send a hard drive defragmentation attack!
Needless to say, I’ve been very happy with Panda and I think it will be able to nip your infection in the bud. The link below documents my “test” where I compared Panda to Norton and McAfee.
GREAT!!! Just go to Advast! search it in google it’s a great anti-virus software, it doesn’t block ur internet like the northern one does and it blocks them completely grrr i couldn’t put “that” in my dad’s computer!!!!
Ouch, I **** trojan and spyware so much. I think i might know of a software that will help you get rid of that Trojan and spyware.I know a few good ones but I personaly beleive that Xoftspyse is the best one out there.
