Mr Pfeiffer asked:
My security thing (Norton) found adware and said it removed the file but I still get adverts popping up every minute for as long as I’m physically using the internet (if i dont have it open but I’m connected I dont get anything).
How can I remove it properly?
Matt, that had better be genuine

If you want to remove ANY malware infection please follow the instructions below:
Download (http://remove-malware.com/downloads), Install, Update and do full scans with the following applications in this order:
-MalwareBytes (installs, updates and scans in safemode with networking)
-AntiVir (installs and scans in safemode)
-SuperAntiSpyware (install this in normal bootmode)
After you done full scans and removed all the malware found by these 3 applications you should be malware free. To remove any system changes made by malware (such as disabled task manager, registry editor, desktop, etc) follow the instructions found below:
To get this off without having to do any registry editing, follow these instructions.
1. Disable System Restore. Go to Start–>Control Panel–>System–>System Restore tab. Click the check box that says “Disable System Restore”.
2. Download and run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (free program). Run a full scan, which can take some time. Once the scan is done, delete all entries found.
3. Reboot.
That should clear it out. I am a Network Admin and have had to do this numerous times on workstations in the company.
