I have the paid version with all the protection i need from (Spyware, viruses, Trojans, Adware and Worms etc.
My subscription expires in 2011 so quite a wait if I’m going to change…..
I just want to know:
Is it McAfee Security Center good?
(Because it has never found anything on my computer, no adware not even the occasional tracking cookie!)
( I know there is a little adware and a few cookies from looking at the mcafee quickclean.) But they aren’t really my main concern.
Do i have nothing? Or is McAfee just a bad choice for malware detection?
and if there is a better one could you recommend one for me?
Thanks For Your Help In Advance!

Well, I has McAfee. My sister had Norton. One day my sister’s internet didn’t work so I called the at&t people to see what the problem was. They said that McAfee and Norton had strong firewalls or something. So when I deleted Norton from my computer, the internet began to work. My dad has AVG so I put on the frre edition of AVG and it worked even better. So I guess McAfee has bad service.
I’ve heard lots of stories about McAffe, but from personal use, I reckon it’s one of the best ones out there. The phishing detector saved me once, the real-time scanner detected some spyware before, and overall, it’s done it’s job and has kept my computer completely virus-free (your common sense has to play a part too, like not opening unknown attachments in emails, and keeping Windows up-to-date). It’s never put me wrong. The reason it might not be detecting anything is that there might not be anything to detect! You might just be a safe, informed internet-user who doesn’t do stupid things that can land you in trouble.
So overall, I think McAffe is well worth it’s money.
