I have the paid version with all the protection i need from (Spyware, viruses, Trojans, Adware and Worms etc.
My subscription expires in 2011 so quite a wait if I’m going to change…..
I just want to know:
Is it McAfee Security Center good?
(Because it has never found anything on my computer, no adware not even the occasional tracking cookie!)
( I know there is a little adware and a few cookies from looking at the mcafee quickclean.) But they aren’t really my main concern.
Do i have nothing? Or is McAfee just a bad choice for malware detection?
and if there is a better one could you recommend one for me?

mcafee is ok…not stellar by any means. for the most part any so called comprehensive package is not going to be the best at every task. it’s better to get what you need and not eat up disk space for what you don’t/won’t use. i just use AVG free edition for anti-virus and the paid version of Ad-Aware for real-time anti-apyware protection (the free version of Ad-Aware you have to run to find things…i prefer to know when it happens!)
