with antivirus only one is recommended as they can otherwise conflict with each other
i use avast its free and highly effective you don’t need the professional version the home version covers almost all of what the average user will need
i so recommend advanced windows care by oibit it is not antivirus but an optimization tool and also a spyware scanner

Adaware is not really that good compared to other free ones available. I used it for about a day before I uninstalled it and seeked an alternative.
I would recommend Spybot S&D. It offers real-time protection and it doesn’t take too long to scan.
Another good one is SUPERAntiSpyware. I am pretty sure that you have to pay an upgrade to get the real-time protection on this one.
And last, but not least, Malwarebytes’.
