Avast Antivirus has a boot time scanner. Many stubborn trojans and viruses can only be remove with a boot time scan. * This is my reason for using it.
Basically they do not know no better or do not take the time to compare it to other choices available. Often people are mislead by the CNET rating system.
They don’t realise that AVG have lower detection rates than Avast and the version 8 is a resource hog.
Avast is a very effective and free anti-virus program because it can do
a boot time scan in safe mode and it will remove all viruses on your PC.
Even those stubborn trojan viruses that hide inside the system restore folder.
I have tried AVG 7.5 before. In the end I have use Avast 4.8 to remove the stubborn virus.
This is enigmatic and sublimely taxing to wholly conceive of why people relish AVG,I have AVG and Avast so as to improve my security.
